As you’d expect from a big name release in 2023, the recently announced Mortal Kombat 1 will come with a host of different editions, each with their own bonuses, content (or should that be kontent?) and more that’ll make them worthy of your cash. While we’ve only seen a CGI trailer from Mortal Kombat 1 so far, NetherRealm have already detailed the various editions we can expect when the game launches in September 2023. This what you can expect from the various editions when the game launches.

Mortal Kombat 1 | Pre-Order Bonus

Those who pre-order Mortal Kombat 1 will receive the pre-order exclusive character Shang Tsung to add to their roster, along with access to the game’s closed beta, which is scheduled to happen in August.

Mortal Kombat 1 | Standard Edition

Price: $69.99
Physical/Digital: Both

The vanilla version of Mortal Kombat 1, you won’t receive any additional bonuses for purchasing this version unless you pre-order. This version will be available physically and digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S, Nintendo Switch. The PC version on Steam and EGS will be digital only.

Mortal Kombat 1 | Premium Edition

Price: $109.99
Physical/Digital: Both

The bigger version of Mortal Kombat 1, the Premium Edition certainly has the price to prove it. Like the regular version, the Premium Edition will also be for all platforms, and while pricey, you’re still getting some bang for your buck as this version includes the base game and a host of additional benefits, such as:

– The Kombat Pack (which will include 6 playable fighters and 5 Kameo Fighters, all available post-launch, and a Jean Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage available at launch)
– 1250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency)
– Early access to the game starting from September 14th

Mortal Kombat 1 | Kollector’s Edition

Price: $249.99
Physical/Digital: Physical

One for those with a lot of money burning a hole in their pocket, the Kollector’s Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 features all the content available in the Premium Edition, with the added bonus of 2700 Dragon Krystals instead of 1250. On top of that, the Kollector’s Edtion includes a 16.5 inch Liu Kang sculpture designed by COARSE, an in-game skin inspired by the statue, three art prints and a steelbook case.

The Kollector’s Edition is the priciest edition of the lot, meaning it’ll only be an option for the most ardent of Mortal Kombat fans, but if big statues of Liu Kang are your thing, this is the perfect edition for you.

Mortal Kombat 1 is set to launch on September 19th, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PS5, Xbox Series X & S and the Nintendo Switch.
