ORIGINAL ARTICLE: A listing on the Microsoft Store has revealed that Metal Wolf Chaos XD will be launching on PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 6th. The listing was first spotted by Gematsu, and no official announcement has been made regarding a release date from either Devolver Digital or From Software at the time of writing. Either way, the page is still up, so you can ogle those glorious screenshots all you want.
A remaster of a previously Japan-only original Xbox exclusive, Metal Wolf Chaos XD puts you in a mech suit piloted by Michael Wilson, the 47th President of the United States, trying to quell an insurrection led by Vice-President Richard Hawk. It’s absolutely bonkers, and you should absolutely seek out some Let’s Plays of the game to see for yourself.
The remaster includes 4K & 16:9 support, updated controls and upgraded visual fidelity and a new and improved save system. There will also be an additional Skin Pack, though the listing currently doesn’t detail what the skin pack will actually include.
