While retailers often use placeholder dates for upcoming games with unannounced release dates, the tweet was removed so quickly that it suggests that the release date news might have gone live a little too early. Obviously, this isn’t confirmed until Sony or Media Molecule themselves comment on the matter, but it’s looking likely.
As mentioned, Dreams focuses heavily on player creation and sharing, allowing its users to make levels where the only limit is there imagination. Players in the current early access state have been able to build authentic recreations of games like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy, though you won’t be able to share any creations related to other intellectual properties, you know, because of legal issues.
We’ve played a bit of Dreams ourselves, and we’re quite excited about the game’s future. Have a read of our thoughts, and let us know your’s in the comments down below.
