Bandai Namco have announced that Man of Medan, the first narrative horror game in The Dark Pictures Anthology, will be launching a free Friend’s Pass to all existing and future purchasers of the game for a limited time, which is just as well considering it’s featured on a lot of Black Friday sales.
From now until January 6th, 2020, those who have purchased or will purchase Man of Medan will be given a complimentary Friend’s Pass that’ll allow players who don’t own the full game to experience a full playthrough of the game for free. Those who don’t own the game will only need to download the free trial and receive an invite from someone who does own the game.
Once the playthrough has been completed, that pass will be no longer usable, so choose your partner carefully. Considering that Man of Medan requires multiple playthroughs to see everything that the game has to offer, you could consider the Friend’s Pass a sneak peek into the horrors the game hides.
We reviewed The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan back when it launched in August, and although it had its flaws, we enjoyed our time on the spooky ghost ship. Will you be utilising the Friend’s Pass? Sound off in the comments below.
