If you’ve been waiting patiently for a bevy of free games on your PS4, today is your lucky day. August 7th marks the August 2018 PlayStation Plus games becoming available to download and includes naughty killer lads, naughty killer lads with a sense of justice, and also some quizzes to even things out.
Mafia 3 is arguably the biggest game of the month and transports you to the fictional open world of New Bordeaux. You play as Lincoln Clay as he kills the mob, one grunt at a time, over and over and over again. The gameplay sure is repetitive, but the interesting story should be enough to keep you hooked.
The supporting act, as it were, is Dead By Daylight: a horror game that was crying out to be included in PlayStation Plus’ offerings. Primarily played on PC, the DBD community is good but not huge, so here’s hoping there’s plenty more opportunities for Michael Myers and his mates to kill some hapless generator-huggers.

If you don’t immediately see the new games on the PlayStation Store, remember that sometimes it takes a little while to refresh. As a general rule of thumb, expect the new games to be completely added by noon in your region at which point July’s games will also be removed.
