Looks Like Fortnite Season 5 May Include Vikings

With only two days to go, Epic Games continue to cryptically tease Fortnite season 5 with a new image posted on their socials. Yesterday it was a cameo from Asuka and today it looks like Kratos is going to have a word with Tilted (we can pray).

The in-game “news” for season 5 mentions that worlds will collide, which seems to back up the suggestion that Fortnite will go multi-dimensional with different time periods being represented. We’ve already seen a Wild West wagon and an anchor, so maybe soon we’ll find a (historically inaccurate) viking helmet as well.

The rifts dotted around the map at the tailend of season 4 seem to have been caused by the failed rocket launch. They started at Lonely Lodge before popping up at almost all named locations so far. There have been casualities: the candle sigil still burns for the Tomato Man’s head in Tomato Town.

There have been plenty of theories about Fortnite season 5 so far, so we’ve compiled everything we know into one handy guide. It now seems more likely than ever that the map will be completely changed, or at least the outwards appearance of many of its locations.
