Just like the end of season 3, Epic Games have started to tease a glimpse at the new season of Fortnite with it only being a few days away.
With season 4 coming to a close on July 12th with season 5 set to begin immediately after downtime, Fortnite’s Twitter account has started to post cryptic images, much like they did with the orange-y photos depicting the new skins and the superhero theme at the end of season 3 to hype season 4.

It’s a fool’s errand to look into this too closely, but it would appear that the rift is going to dramatically change the game. Rumours suggest that season 5 will be flitting between different time periods, though it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which one this presumably Japanese cat “mask” belongs to. Honestly, it just makes me think of Asuka.
