Last Chance For June 2018’s PlayStation Plus Games

If you want to save the world from its imminent demise or fancy doing a bit of flip, today’s your last chance to snag June 2018’s free PlayStation Plus games. Tomorrow brings July 2018’s games, so act fast and add these games to your library even if you don’t think you will play them — a game is a game, after all.

XCOM 2 is arguably the headliner of the bunch and also the main act of your nightmares. It’s an RTS with brutal difficulty if you don’t plan out every single step of the battle, but save scumming is always an option just in case everything goes to hell. It’s probably the best game of its kind on the PlayStation 4, so climb aboard The Avenger and get, erm, avenging.

Trials Fusion may be years old, but that doesn’t stop it from being fun. It’s not as mindless as it looks, either: there’s a lot of skill involved in landing a jump and not breaking all your bones. While it may be polarising among fans thanks to it being “Ubi-ized” it’s still a worthwhile distraction if nothing else.

The games in full:

XCOM 2 (PS4)
Trials Fusion (PS4)
Zombie Driver HD (PS3)
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (PS3)
Atomic Ninjas (PS Vita)
Squares (PS Vita)

And here’s what’s coming tomorrow:

Absolver (PS4)
Heavy Rain (PS4)
Rayman 3 HD (PS3)
Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (PS3)
Space Overlords (PS Vita)
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma (PS Vita)

Remember: you need an active PlayStation Plus subscription to play these games, as well as to play most of the console’s games online. You can pay each month, but the best way to save yourself some money is to snaffle up an annual subscription.
