THQ Nordic have announced that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-reckoning, the remaster of one of the last generation’s cult classic RPGs, will be launching on September 8th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the official trailer below.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-reckoning will include improved visuals and some refined gameplay features, along with some brand new content. Said content includes a brand new expansion called Fatesworn, which is scheduled to launch at some point in 2021. Hopefully, this means that Re-reckoning will offer some kind of generous cross-generation compatibility, given that the PS5 and Xbox Series X are set to launch between the game’s release date and the DLC release.

Re-reckoning will launch on September 8th and will cost around €39.99/$39.99/£34.99, while the Fate Edition of the game will cost €54.99/$54.99/£47.99 and will include the Fatesworn expansion. Finally, there’s a Collector’s Edition which will include an Alyn Shir figurine, a custom Amalur keychain, 5 pieces of in-game artwork, the soundtrack which was composed by Grant Kirkhope and the box to hold it all in. The Collector’s Edition will cost $109.99/€109.99/£99.99.

Will you be picking up Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-reckoning when it launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year? Sound off in the comments.
