Mortal Kombat’s resident speedster Kabal has finally been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11, which no one saw coming after that reveal event. No, you shut up. Check out his trailer below, one that actually has the audio in sync. What a time to be alive.
Kabal puts the confirmed Mortal Kombat 11 roster at 9 characters, 10 if you want to count Shao Kahn as pre-order DLC. Kabal retains his annoying Nomad Dash and his trademark Hook Swords, but he’s got a lot of new tools at his disposal that make him a more ranged character than he is typically. He’s also got a brutal looking fatality that’s a gorier version of The Flash’s super move in Injustice 2. Best fatality so far? Possibly.
The full Kombat Kast went into much more detail about how Kabal’s playstyle has changed from his last appearance in Mortal Kombat 9, along with a look into his crushing blows and specific loadout changes. For more details, check out NetherRealm’s official Twitch channel.
