The audience for shonen anime is as hungry as ever. Fortunately for them, the options for shonen are as strong as ever with Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 premiering on July 6, 2023. If that raised your spirits, read on and find out when each episode airs, as this Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 episodes guide will tell you the exact release dates and times for all the episodes.

Get ready to free up your schedule; you know you want that Gojo fix. You’ll get that fix quick too, because the first couple of episodes will act as a prequel that shows Gojo’s past. Hopefully, this fleshes out everyone’s favorite character out some more. If that doesn’t hype you up, nothing will. Here are the Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 episode dates you need.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 Episodes Release Dates

Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 episodes will be coming out every Thursday starting July 6, 2023. Unless you live in Australia or somewhere with a similar timezone, in which case, you’ll get the episodes every Friday morning.

JJK: S2 has been confirmed to have two cours. Most of the time, a cour consists of 12 episodes. So, Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 will  have 23 episodes, one less than the first season.

The next JJK episode of Season 2, Episode 22 – Metamorphosis, Part 2 is set to release on Thursday, December 21st, 2023. However, due to falling animation standards and complaints from the staff for being overworked, a pause/hiatus for JJK: Season 2 is expected at some point soon so this may be subject to change.

Episode 22: Metamorphosis, Part 2 – December 21st, 2023

If the number of episodes stays as expected, Season 2 will run for most of the second half of 2023. With any luck, there won’t be any breaks in between episodes apart from the one just before Shibuya begins. They said it would be two “consecutive” cours, which is a really good sign.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 Release Times (Per Timezone)

For hardcore Jujutsu Kaisen fans, knowing the date might not be enough. Here are the exact times when each episode will drop.

JST – 11:56 PM (Thursday)
ACDT – 1:26 AM (Friday)
PT – 8:56 AM (Thursday)
CT – 10:56 AM (Thursday)
ET – 11:56 AM (Thursday)
GMT – 3:56 PM (Thursday)
IST – 9:26 PM (Thursday)

The end of the trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 reveals that the episodes will drop at 11:56 PM in Japanese Standard Time (JST). Most simulcasting services like Crunchyroll take about an hour to stream an episode after it drops. This delay is why you’ll notice that the JST is set an hour in advance on this list.

If the timezone you’re in isn’t on this list, don’t worry. Simply convert any of these times, except for JST, into your timezone to get the time you need. Take note that these times might not be super accurate. It’s not uncommon for an episode to come out a few minutes after its schedule. So, don’t panic if you don’t see a new episode pop up as soon as the clock hits these times.

Where To Watch Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2

Similar to Season 1 and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 will be available on Crunchyroll. Eventually, it’ll probably also be available on DVD and Blu-ray, but that’s still a long way off.

If you want details about what Season 2 will be about, here’s everything you need to know about it.
