The legendary daredevil wrestler Jeff Hardy has confirmed his intentions to sign with AEW once his no-compete clause is up with WWE. In a shoot interview with Jeff Myers, the former WWE Champion stated that he was very excited to be joining the All Elite roster in the near future. Jeff Hardy will be free to wrestle wherever he pleases as of March 9th, so expect him to be making his debut on or around that date.

The speculation of Jeff’s next destination began pretty much as soon as Hardy was confirmed to be released from his WWE contract, following ‘erratic behaviour’ at a live event in Texas. Jeff and his family made it very clear that the circumstances surrounding his release were sketchy, even suggesting that the drug results that WWE were basing their decision on were falsified. Since then, AEW have not been shy about taking pot-shots at WWE for their treatment of Jeff throughout the situation, letting Matt Hardy parody the situation on-screen and in a backstage interview.

There’s no denying that Jeff Hardy signing to AEW would be a huge deal. Not only would the AEW roster be given one of the most iconic stars of the Attitude Era and beyond, but also be able to deliver the reunion of the Hardy Boyz within the AEW Tag division. This would undoubtedly lead to some incredible dream matches with the likes of FTR, The Young Bucks and reDragon.
