Injustice 2 – Legendary Edition Bundles Together All The DLC And More

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced that their popular superhero fighting game Injustice 2 will be getting an all-inclusive, Game of the Year style big boy edition, in the form of the Legendary Edition.

As you might expect, the Legendary Edition, which will launch on March 30th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, includes all the DLC characters, which includes Darkseid, Red Hood, Starfire, Sub-Zero, Black Manta, Raiden, Hellboy, Atom, Enchantress and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, along with all the Premium Skins that were exclusive to the Ultimate Edition of the game. Finally, a chance to play as Jon Stewart Green Lantern, otherwise known as the BEST version of Green Lantern. You know I’m right.

Not content with just packaging together what’s already available, Warner Bros. have also announced that that the Legendary Edition will also mark the inclusion of several new features, including an expanded tutorial known as the Learn Hub, new Gear items for every character, a level cap increase to 30 and an additional augment slot once you reach level 30. Injustice 2 was already one of the most content-rich fighting games on the market, but this has just raised the stakes.

If you didn’t think this was enough editions, a Day 1 Edition of the Legendary Edition will also be available, which will include all of the above along with a collectible Injustice 2 coin, an exclusive steel case, “The Injustice 2 Epic Comic Exclusive Download Steel Card” which is the biggest mouthful I’ve seen since Under Night: In-Birth EXE Late(st), and 11000 Source Crystals for use in-game.

No word yet on the price on Injustice 2 – Legendary Edition, but expect to be around £45/$60. That’s par for the course for these re-releases. Will you be purchasing the Legendary Edition of Injustice 2? Sound off in the comments below.
