Arc System Works have debuted a new trailer for their upcoming Guilty Gear sequel, which now bears the title of Guilty Gear Strive, which showcases all the previously announced characters while gives us brief glimpse of the creepy doctor Faust. Check out the trailer for yourself below, and try and stop yourself from headbanging to the background song Smell Of The Game.

The new trailer was revealed at the ArcRevo America fighting game event, along with a “late 2020” release date, suggesting that Guilty Gear Strive might be a cross-generation title. Unfortunately, we’ll be waiting until the new year until we see more about the game, as Faust’s gameplay trailer will be revealed at the Frosty Faustings XII event that takes place on January 17th-18th, along with a playable demo for those in attendance. A demo will also be available at EVO Japan 2020 event a week later.

Are you excited for Guilty Gear Strive? Will you be able to wait 12 months for the next game? Sound off in the comments below.
