Today is Gamescom 2019’s first day, with Opening Night Live and a host of other presentations happening throughout the day, so there’s going to be plenty of announcements. One that might have slipped through the cracks and leaked early is Ghostrunner, a first-person action game coming to Steam, PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the unlisted trailer below, and also thanks to Nibel on Twitter for posting the trailer.
Ghostrunner is being developed by One More Level Studio and published by All In! Games. Your objective is to scale a mysterious tower that houses the last remnants of humanity after a global cataclysm. As a cyber-warrior, you’re the only one with the power to ascend the tower, take down the hordes of foes laying in wait and ultimately defeat The Keymaster.
The game boasts features like parkour, bullet-time and one hit kills with a katana, making for a mix of fast-paced combat and insane platforming capabilities. The one minute of gameplay shown suggests that Ghostrunner could very well be a sleeper hit. The Steam page for the game points to an August 6th, 2020 launch, so we’ll have to wait to get our hands on it. Are you excited for Ghostrunner? Sound off in the comments.
