Fortnitemares 2020 is now upon us in Fortnite: Season 4 and it looks like we will have another licensed tie-in during the season of crossovers. Based on leaks from the update, Ghostbusters will be arriving to Fortnite as new skins.

While we don’t yet know what they look like, strings in the game’s files have hinted at their existence and it also looks like the gang will be a part of bundles.

A closer look at the skins will likely come following the update due to Epic drastically changing the game’s files on PC. Leakers are having trouble parsing all of the files in v14.40, which have been compressed to make the game smaller.

So, Bill Murray in Fortnite is a real possibility, though that would almost be too wild to be a reality. Would most Fortnite players even really be that fond of Murray?

The likelier case is that the Ghostbusters bundle will be based on the upcoming movie, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which was actually pushed back into 2021 due to everything that’s going on in the world right now. Either that or it will be a Fortnite default wearing the iconic jumpsuit.

No news on the price for the Ghostbusters bundles in Fortnite so far, but basing it on the prices of other licensed bundles, it will cost either 2000 V-Bucks or $24.99/£19.99.

UPDATE: It looks like we will also be getting a quest for Ghostbusters over the course of Fortnitemares as well.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 4 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
