In amongst all of the returns to WWE under Triple H, including the likes of Karrion Kross, Scarlett and Dexter Lumis, fresh faces don’t appear to be restricted to just the main roster, as in the near future some of NXT UK’s top stars will be making a journey across the pond to America to appear as part of the main NXT roster.
In recent months, some of the next two UK stars, including A-Kid and Nathan Fraser, have made their debut on mainland NXT. According to reports, it now seems that the trio of Gallus, including the two former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Mark Coffey and Wolfgang, as well as hot newcomer Charlie Dempsey will also be joining the NXT ranks.
It is expected that these for NXT UK stars will make their debut for NXT by the end of next month. This could be a fantastic opportunity for both Gallus and Dempsey, who have almost been underutilised on the NXT UK roster in recent months. Since losing the NXT UK Tag Team Championships, Gallus have floundered and Dempsey is way too talented for him not to be booked into marquee matches.
It’s currently unknown as to whether these will just be sporadic appearances or more of a full time position on NXT. However, I’m very much looking forward to seeing what they will achieve as part of the NXT roster, Charlie Dempsey especially, who, of course, is best known for being the son of former NXT general manager William Regal.
