Former NXT wrestler Dexter Lumis made a shocking return to WWE and main roster debut as part of last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The stalker-esque giant was spotted out in the crowd following the conclusion of the AJ Styles vs. The Miz No DQ main-event. Lumis was escorted away from ringside by arena security in what became one of the most talked-about features of the entire show.
WWE under Triple H has been on fire thus far, mostly due to the re-acquisitions of wrestlers that were released in April of last year, Lumis being one of these former pink-slipped superstars. This was a great way of introducing the more casual audience to Dexter Lumis, giving him a creepy and chaotic first appearance that will undoubtedly lead to a bunch of questions being asked on next week’s show. It was a fantastic cliff-hanger.
It seems that Dexter will be targeting AJ Styles as his first opponent on the main roster, and perhaps this will only lead to bigger and better things for Lumis going forward as part of the RAW roster.
It’s good to see him back.
