With us now making our way through Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3, it’s about time that we saw a new Starter Pack, which come around at least once a season. For Season 3, we have the Yellowjacket Pack.
Currently available in New Zealand on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, the Yellowjacket Pack will become available worldwide at midnight in your respective region on June 23rd.

Here’s what you get with it, as well as what the Yellowjacket skin itself looks like.
Like a stinger, her fashion sense is always on point. Includes the following:
– 600 V-Bucks
– Yellowjacket Outfit
– Backstabber Back Bling
– Venom Blade Pickaxe

Costing £3.99/€4.99/$4.99 USD USD in terms of price, the Yellowjacket Pack is the same price as the rest of the Starter Packs released to date. The fact that you get a decent Back Bling and Pickaxe along with your purchase is a good bonus.
These Starter Packs are almost always worth picking up, if only for all the additional V-Bucks you get — more than your money’s worth. You can then use that currency to spend on something in the Item Shop and potentially pick up other cosmetics without putting down any extra real money. It’s also a decent investment this time out as Yellowjacket herself is a decent skin, though arguably not quite as good as Iris, the pack for last season.
Still, I always have a hard time arguing against these packs, even if they are getting arguably safer and safer. Most Fortnite fans tend to be prefer the female skins due to their seemingly slender frames, even though all skins have the same hitboxes. I made this exact point when Iris was revealed, so it looks like Epic are sticking to what works for them and their community.
