In what feels like their fifteenth collaboration to date, Fortnite and Star Wars are teaming up to celebrate Skywalker Week and bring three of the most iconic movie characters of all time to the game.
Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia are the three biggest heroes from the original trilogy, each of them appearing in the more controversial sequel trilogy many years later, and all of them absolute pop culture icons. Hot on the heels of Darth Vader et al, they’re now also the newest residents of the Fortnite island.
Here’s what you should know about the Skywalker Week collab in Fortnite.
Fortnite Skywalker Week Skins
As mentioned, Luke, Han, and Leia will all be coming to the Fortnite island. They all look a fair bit like their real life counterparts, but there’s something about the hair on the Han and Luke skins that might appear off to some.

As well as the skins themselves, players will also be able to pick up these additional cosmetics:

These items will be available separately and as part of bundles in the Fortnite Item Shop.
Fortnite Skywalker Week Skin Prices

ORIGINAL STORY: Based on the prices of most collaborations to date, the Fortnite Star Wars skins should cost 1500-1600 V-Bucks when released in the Fortnite Item Shop.
Players will also be able to get their hands on bundles costing 2000+ V-Bucks and get some savings at the same time.
Fortnite Skywalker Week Skin Release Dates
The Skywalker Week skins will launch in the Fortnite Item Shop on November 1st, 2022 when downtime for v22.30 concludes.
The skins will stay up for sale for the rest of Skywalker Week itself.
Fortnite Skywalker Week Trailer
The Skywalker Week trailer above showcases all three of the skins a bit more, as well as their relevant extra cosmetics.
The trailer also gives a first look at some of the items appearing as part of the collaboration, including Luke’s lightsaber and the modified Star Wars Junk Rift.
Who’s left from Star Wars to be brought to Fortnite after this huge collaboration? Surely Anakin (even though technically he’s already in as Darth Vader) and Padme at some point are easy shoo-ins, but it’ll be interesting to see just how deeply they mine the Star Wars content well. Qui-Gon, anyone?
