Just when you thought it couldn’t get any weirder in Fortnite, what with it being a season full of aliens and Rick & Morty, along comes a Fortnite Will Smith skin based off a movie series that most players won’t be all that familiar with.
Will Smith will be coming to Fortnite as Mike Lowrey, his character from the Bad Boys franchise. The last movie was 2020’s Bad Boys for Life and there doesn’t seem to be any particular reason for this crossover, just a sort of “why not” collaboration between Fortnite and Smith.

There will just be one style for Will Smith in Fortnite, a rather clean skin with some sweet shades and a very tight top.
It’s a shame it’s not his MIB attire, but we still hold out hope that we might get something like that for Halloween. There’s no shortage of Will Smith roles over the years that’d make sense in Fortnite.

It looks like you will also be able to buy a Back Bling along with the skin and a pickaxe; here are the names of those.

Sadly it doesn’t look like there’s an emote or wrap with the Will Smith set in Fortnite.
Fortnite Will Smith Skin Price
The Will Smith skin will cost 1500 V-Bucks (around £13/$16 if you buy the 1000 V-Bucks option twice or have no V-Bucks already in your balance) when it lands in the Item Shop as it’s Epic rarity.
The Will Smith bundle will also cost 2800 V-Bucks if there is one, based on the prices of other collaboration bundles (like J Balvin) in Fortnite, and will come with every single J Will Smith cosmetic.
It doesn’t look like there will be a skin cup like other recent skins.
Fortnite Will Smith Skin Release Date
Will Smith will be available to buy in Fortnite for the first time from August 28th, 2021 at 8 PM ET when the Item Shop refreshes.
Based on all of the other crossover skins, which is a lot of them, Will Smith will remain available for purchase for at least a week. He will almost certainly return, so really don’t rush to buy him.
If you’re wondering if Martin Lawrence will also be coming to Fortnite, don’t hold your breath.
