After making his way into Fortnite for a concert, reggaeton star J Balvin is returning to Fortnite as his own Icon Series skin.
Balvin, who is one of the biggest latino acts in the world and also a Grammy winner, will be available with three different styles and also has a cup that players can compete in. While it’s not the most obvious Icon skin to English-speaking countries, J Balvin is a global star with millions of fans and tonnes of acclaim.
Here’s everything you need to know about J Balvin’s debut as a Fortnite skin.
J Balvin Skin Styles
J Balvin will come three styles: the normal style, Energia Balvin Style, and Skeleton Balvin Style, which is intended to hark back to his Fortnitemares performance.
All of these styles will be available with one purchase of the J Balvin skin.
J Balvin Skin Bundle
As well as the skin, J Balvin will also be available with a collection of cosmetics that can either be bought separately or as part of a bundle, which includes the In Da Party emote; check that out below:

All of these cosmetics will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop at the same time and leave at the same time.
J Balvin Skin Price
The J Balvin skin will cost 1500 V-Bucks when it lands in the Item Shop and has its own rarity, the Icon rarity.
The J Balvin bundle will also cost 2800 V-Bucks, based on the prices of other collaboration bundles (like Morty) in Fortnite, and comes with every single J Balvin cosmetic.
You can also win the skin for free by competing in the J Balvin Cup.
Fortnite J Balvin Skin Release Date
J Balvin will be available to buy in Fortnite for the first time from August 26, 2021 at at 8 PM ET when the Item Shop refreshes.
Based on all of the other crossover skins (half the Item Shop these days), J Balvin will remain available for purchase for at least a week.
