We’re at the halfway point in Fortnite Season X’s challenges, with Week 6 bringing us the ‘Boogie Down’ mission. Boogie Down, as you might have guessed, has a distinct focus on dancing; wherever, whenever. Most of the challenges are all about dancing in certain locations or under certain conditions to complete them.
This particular challenge asks of you something a little different: to protect the sanctity of dance, by destroying three No Dancing Signs. This is a rather involved challenge and relies heavily on map knowledge as the signs are distributed in random spots without any real rhyme or reason. Without knowing their locations ahead of time, this would be quite a time consuming challenge as they’re also quite small and hard to distinguish from other signs at a distance.
Below is a map with all the No Dancing Signs we could find circled in red.
No Dancing Sign Locations Map
We found seven signs in total (but there’s probably more). They’re quite spread out around the map, not congregating in any particular area. They tend to be placed at high elevations (like the top of hills), but this is not always the case.
Frosty Flights #1
There are two signs south of Frosty Flights. The first No Dancing Sign is atop a fairly steep and barren frozen hill, more southeast of Frosty Flights. You’ll find it at B9 on the main map’s grid.
Frosty Flights #2
The second sign is located directly south of Frosty Flights. The very southwestern corner of the map has two frozen peninsulas that jut out either side of a small frozen island. The very tip of the more northern peninsula has a No Dancing Sign for you to destroy. It’s located at A9 on the main map’s grid.
Northwest of Junk Junction, in the very northwestern corner of the map is a large metal llama. Very slightly to its west on the ground is a small stack of wooden pallets and a No Dancing Sign for you to destroy. You’ll find it at B1 on the main map’s grid.
Directly southeast of Paradise Palms (southwest of John Wick’s house) is a mesa. This is the closest mesa to Paradise Palms looking southwest, and atop this mesa is a No Dancing Sign. You can find it at I8 on the main map’s grid.
Northwest of Pleasant Park is a large hill with an Expedition Outpost atop it. On the very western side of this hill is a small overlook. The No Dancing Sign is at overlooking the area next to a Zipline. It rests on the intersection of C2 and C3 on the main map’s grid.
At the very northern end of Pressure Plant is a metal catwalk overlooking the entirety of Pressure Plant. There is a No Dancing Sign located up here. Check H3 on the main map’s grid.
North of Salty Springs is a large rock formation that juts out a considerable distance into the sky. On the northern side of this formation near the peak, but not the highest point, there will be a small platform with the No Dancing Sign for you to destroy. It’s located at F6 on the main map’s grid.
To complete this challenge, all you have to do is destroy any three of these signs over as many games as is required to reach three.
Completing this challenge will bring you closer to completing all seven challenges associated with the Boogie Down mission, which rewards the SC3PT3R pickaxe skin. Completing all the normal challenges also allows you to prestige the mission, unlocking seven new missions, with the final reward being the Formal White Style skin recolour for the YOND3R outfit.
