It’s the last week of Fortnite Season 8 with Week 10’s challenges now out for all. The challenges are surprisingly robust and look like they will keep you going for a while, a surprise considering that Epic tend to go to sleep round about this time every season.
Here’s everything you need to know about Week 10’s free and Battle Pass challenges, as well as simple explainers for a few of them.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 10 Free Challenges
Launch through flaming hoops with a Cannon (3)
We have a guide in the works for this one.
Stage 1: Harvest Wood in a single match (500)
Stage 2: Harvest Stone in a single match (400)
Stage 3: Harvest Metal in a single match (300)
For wood, drop at Lonely Lodge. For metal, go to Junk Junction. But for stone, I’m not so sure. Maybe go to somewhere quiet with a few buildings like Sunny Steps?
Eliminate opponents at Tilted Towers or The Block (3)
The Block will be easier/less RNG-focused that dropping at Tilted. Nickmercs will probably get this done in a second.
Fortnite Season 8 Week 10 Battle Pass Challenges
Deal damage with an Infantry Rifle or Heavy Assault Rifle (500)
I would recommend using the Heavy AR or the IR as you do huge damage with a headshot, the clip is bigger, and the rate of fire is much better.

Deal damage within 10 seconds of landing after using a Volcano Vent (100)
A really situational and weird challenge, this one, but one that we can help with thanks to our easy walkthrough on where you can find the vents in Season 8.
Eliminate an opponent from closer than 5m away (2)
Another one that you have to get a little lucky with, but most shotgun confrontations are from up close so you may get this challenge ticked off that way.
