Fortnite Season 8: Junk Junction Treasure Map & Treasure Locations

Fork goodness sake.

Fortnite Junk Junction

The final week of Fortnite Season 8 has arrived. Week 10 brings with it the ‘revamped’ version of the old treasure map challenge they introduced in Week 8. Just like in Week 8, this is a multi-stage challenge in which the first stage asks you to find the map and interact with it to reveal its secrets. The second stage is to head to the area marked by the initial map.

Below is a map with the treasure map circled in blue and the treasure circled in red.

Junk Junction Map And Treasure Location

Fortnite Season 8 Junk Junction

The treasure map is located in the northwestern area of the map in Junk Junction. The treasure is a fair distance away near Fatal Fields. This isn’t a huge problem as you’re forced to do each step individually per match.

This is how the map will appear before you’ve interacted with it. You’ll find it just north of Junk Junction’s central building, hiding in a block of cars behind a stack of pallets. You’ll find it at B1. Once you interact with it, it will reveals its details and you can progress to the next stage once you exit this match.

Uncovering the map will reveal a picture of a knife and fork. There is a location on the map that looks exactly like this, which is a rock quarry just north of Fatal Fields. Like Week 8, this map has had no alterations done to it compared to earlier seasons, making it fairly easy to determine where to go. You’ll find the treasure at F8 on the main map’s grid.

The Treasure

Once you’ve made it to the rock quarry, the treasure will be buried on in the knife part of the quarry. The treasure itself is buried atop a rock on the widest part of the blade, which is also the easternmost edge of the knife blade. Interact with the treasure and you’re finished with the final treasure hunt for Season 8.

The other notable challenge for this week requires you to launch yourself through 3 flaming hoops with a pirate cannon. This is an interesting capstone to the season as it focused so heavily on pirate camps (where cannons spawn) and cannons in general with their challenges. Happy spelunking.
