Eagerly anticipating getting stuck in to Fortnite season 6, many players jumped at the chance to purchase the Battle Pass, which will set you back 950 V-Bucks. Having not played the game in ages, I had no V-Bucks so I handed over my £7.99 to try and kick things off.
However, I, like many other Fortnite players who purchased V-Bucks, have not been allocated them after an ‘Invalid Token’ message. The money has been taken out of my bank account, but the V-Bucks have not been added.

Epic Games are aware of the situation, posting the following message.
We're aware some players are receiving an error message when attempting to purchase Vbucks or their delivery is delayed.
We are investigating this now and are continuing to monitor for any additional issues.

However, with the game also struggling to work on Xbox One, it may be a little while yet until we see the V-Bucks we paid for. It’s a shame, because the Battle Pass looks really great this season and I’d prefer to start grinding through it right away. Guess I will just keep using the free emote over and over for the time being.
Elsewhere in Fortnite, they’ve introduced huge changes to the map, dragons and dogs as back-bling-esque pets, as well as the return of the OG music but with a pretty significant catch.
