After a multitude of leaks, the Fortnite: Chapter 3 – Season 3 Battle has finally been revealed, and it might be the biggest one yet, with Indiana Jones making his debut as part of the Battle Pass.
Darth Vader and Indiana Jones are two of the biggest names to be making the cut this time, and while it could be argued that there are maybe too many collaborations in Fortnite these days, you just can’t beat these two characters in terms of crossover appeal. Indiana Jones has a new movie due out next year and is quite the adventurer, so it makes sense that he would pop up in Fortnite. Well, about as much sense as any of these collaborations could make.
To unlock Indiana Jones in Fortnite, you must first have the Season 3 Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks or a subscription to Fortnite Crew, Epic’s monthly service that also gives you access to the Battle Pass, V-Bucks, and a new skin each month.
As for the specifics, Indiana Jones is the “secret” Battle Pass skin for Season 3, meaning that they cannot be immediately unlocked. Instead players simply have to wait for them to be unlockable. Indiana Jones will be unlockable on your Fortnite Battle Pass from July 7th, 2022.
You will also have to complete Indiana Jones challenges, as we saw with the Prowler skin in Season 2, before you can unlock the man himself. These are typically pretty straightforward, but we don’t know yet what these challenges entail — we’ll update this as we get more information.
There are other cosmetics for Indiana Jones to unlock, including a Back Bling and Pickaxe. Perhaps coolest of all is a Loading Screen seemingly designed by Hollywood poster icon Drew Struzan, who looked like he may have retired before this collaboration. There will also be a second page of cosmetics for Indiana Jones, though it’s not clear yet if these will be his super styles.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
