In recent times, some games offer subscriptions for extra features, such as in-game currency and special passes. Fortnite is one such game with its Fortnite Crew subscription service, which gives players V-Bucks, Battle Passes, exclusive skins, and more each month for £9.99/$11.99.
If you don’t want to pay for Fortnite Crew anymore (and give up on finishing some neat sets), it’s important to know how to cancel it – especially since subscriptions can be automatically renewed.
Bear in mind that everything you unlock while being subscribed to Fortnite Crew remains with you after you cancel the service, so don’t worry about losing all your cosmetics.
Here’s how you can cancel Fortnite Crew on every platform.
Cancel Fortnite Crew For PS4 and PS5
PlayStation players have a fairly easy step-by-step process in order to cancel their subscription on PS4 and PS5.
First, head over to the PlayStation website and sign in to your account in the top right. Select Subscription Management and turn Auto Renew off for Fortnite Crew. Pretty simple.
Cancel Fortnite Crew On Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S
Xbox players on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S can stop paying for Fortnite Crew by first going to their Microsoft Account page and logging in. Then, select Services & Subscriptions and then choose to Manage the subscription. Now, turn off recurring billing and follow the prompts.
But there’s a twist: Xbox players have the option to get a refund. If the refund is given, the player loses 1000 V-Bucks (or whatever was bought with them), their monthly Crew Packs and, in exchange for the deduction of 950 V-Bucks, they keep the Battle Pass. If they don’t have 950 V-Bucks, their wallet will get a negative balance.
To apply for the refund, contact Microsoft Support directly, requesting to cancel the subscription and get a refund.
Cancel Fortnite Crew On Nintendo Switch
For Switch owners, the process of cancelling Fortnite Crew can easily be done on the Switch itself.
Press the Switch’s Home button and open the eShop. Click on your account icon at the top right corner. Select Subscriptions. After you find Fortnite Crew, choose to Turn Off Automatic Renewal. Now, follow the prompts, and Fortnite Crew will be cancelled on your Switch.
Cancel Fortnite Crew On PC And Android
Epic Games players on PC or Android can cancel their subscription by signing into their Epic Games account page and selecting Subscriptions. Then, click on the cog next to the Fortnite subscription and select Cancel Subscription. Afterwards, it’s all about following the prompts, and Fortnite Crew will be cancelled.
Cancel Fortnite Crew For Samsung
It’s also possible to cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription with your Samsung device.
Open the Galaxy Store, open the Menu and select Subscriptions. Select Fortnite and choose to Cancel, and then you will be unsubscribed from Fortnite Crew.
Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
