As part of a new incentive to keep Fortnite Crew subscribers subscribed for longer, Epic has announced a new set that will unlock new styles if you keep up your subscription for longer than a single month.
Called Fortnite Crew Legacy Set and available from today (August 31st), players who are subscribed will unlock one new style for the Protocol Pack Back Bling (a fully customisable Back Bling) each month until six months have passed, after which they will have unlocked all styles as well as the Zen Axe Pickaxe along the way.

Here’s what you get for being subscribed each month
Month 1: Protocol Pack Back Bling
Month 2: Protocol Elite Style (Protocol Pack Back Bling)
Month 3: Protocol Overdrive Style (Protocol Pack Back Bling) & Zen Axe Pickaxe
Month 4: Zen Striker Style (Zen Axe Pickaxe)
Month 5: Zen Ultra Style (Zen Axe Pickaxe)
Month 6: Zen Assault Axe Style (Zen Axe Pickaxe)
Bear in mind that you don’t have to stay subscribed for six straight months; you can pause and return to it at any time as long as you don’t wait for a year, after which you will not be able to unlock the extra styles.
You won’t lose any cosmetics if you unsubscribe, they are yours to keep forever.
How Long Do I Have To Unlock The Fortnite Crew Legacy Set?
You have until December 31, 2021, at 7 PM EST to start subscribing to unlock the first month of the set.
As for how long in total you have to unlock everything, it’s one year. If you subscribe now, you will have until August 2022 to unlock every single style in the set. If you don’t maintain your subscription for at least six months out of twelve, you won’t unlock all the styles.
How Much Is Fortnite Crew?
Fortnite Crew costs $12/£10 a month, which means that you will technically have to spend $72/£60 to unlock everything within the Fortnite Crew Legacy Set.
However, as you will also get a Battle Pass, free V-Bucks, and an exclusive skin each month, it’s a much better deal than it first seems.
