Fortnite is no stranger to unexpected crossovers, and while it’s been requested by the community for a long time, few fans could have actually expected Halloween’s Michael Myers to come to the game. But with Fortnitemares 2023, we now know the Shape of things to come.
Epic has announced that Michael Myers will be coming to Fortnite as part of Fortnitemares 2023, in a slightly unusual twist. Usually they like to keep it a bit of a surprise, so they must be banking on it drumming up a lot of interest in the game. Myers was most recently seen in Halloween Ends, a divisive closer in the new Halloween trilogy, and it’s clearly hoped that this crossover will cause a few more rentals this Halloween.

Fortnite Michael Myers Skin
The Michael Myers skin in Fortnite is based off his younger incarnation first seen in the 1978 movie, as his mask is nowhere near as worn as it is in recent movies.
Players will also be able to get their hands on other cosmetics as part of the set, including a pickaxe, Back Bling, and an emote that shows Michael playing the iconic Haddonfield theme.

Fortnite Michael Myers Skin Price
If other collaborations are anything to go by, Michael Myers should cost around 1500 V-Bucks once released into the Fortnite Item Shop. While Frankenstein’s Monster has previously sold for 1200 V-Bucks, Myers as a more in demand crossover should fetch a bit much.
Looking to snag everything in the set including that awesome emote? Expect to pay around 2,4000 V-Bucks for everything included in the set, just based off of other collaboration bundles in the past. Bear in mind that Epic has recently increased the price of V-Bucks due to inflation.

Fortnite Michael Myers Skin Release Date
UPDATE: according to well known leakers within the community, Michael Myers will be releasing in the Item Shop on October 24 at 8pm ET, one day after Jack Skellington.
Epic has not yet confirmed when Michael Myers will be dropping into the Item Shop, but it will definitely be this Halloween. With the Fortnitemares event set to end on November 1st or so, expect Myers to be in the Item Shop from around the 25th onwards, just as he is probably the marquee name this year and his series is literally Halloween.
