Fortnite: Gas Up A Vehicle At Catty Corner (UPDATED)

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3 looks has finally properly burst into life with the addition of cars. A challenge for Week 9, Gas Up A Vehicle At Catty Corner, might suck out all of your life, though.

For anyone who remembers the days of the Shopping Cart and how big that felt when they were added, cars coming to Fortnite feels like the biggest deal for the game in many seasons. It will no doubt drastically change how people get around the island and playstyles generally.

Here’s everything you need to know to Gas Up A Vehicle At Catty Corner in Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 3.

Fortnite Catty Corner Gas Station Location

Catty Corner is one of the most popular landing spots this season due to the two Mythic items that are available there. It’s always absolutely packed with players and certainly will be even more so this week.

You can find Catty Corner in G7 on the Fortnite grid; it’s circled in red on the map above. The gas station you need is located in the south of the location and is fairly hard to miss. It’s also where you can find a special locked chest.

How To Gas Up A Vehicle

To start off with, you’re going to have a bad time if you try and do this challenge right at the start of a match, especially when the challenge has just released and so many people are trying to complete it at once.

For that reason, we recommend that you drop a little ways away, find a car and then drive back to Catty Corner once all of the action has calmed down. Hopefully the gas pumps will still be there, though. If they explode, you will not be able to complete this challenge.

Once you have yourself a car, drive next to the gas station at Catty Corner and then walk up to a gas pump, using your interact button to pick up the hose. Simply press left click/RT/R2 and then your car should start gassing up.

As with all challenges in this season of Fortnite, completing this challenge will net you 35,000 XP Battle Pass XP. That’s less than previous seasons, but there are other smaller challenges to complete throughout the season that really adds the XP up.
