With a new season of Fortnite comes another chance for Epic to take a look at the loot pool, so it should be no surprise to see that they’ve vaulted some items and unvaulted some others for Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2.
However, as they don’t seem to release patch notes (for whatever reason) anymore, we’ve had to go ahead and do some digging to find out what’s been added and what’s been taken away. Interestingly, not an awful lot has been taken away for a change, but a lot has been added back in.
Here is everything you need to know about the loot pool for Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2.
Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 Vaulted Items
– Damage Traps
– Bolt-Action Sniper
– Less than Epic Rocket Launcher rarities
– P90 (Legendary and Epic)
The loss of Damage Traps is absolutely massive, having been a part of Fortnite almost consistently since the very beginning. However, some players have begun getting frustrated with how strong they are, so maybe Epic are looking at how to bring them back in another way down the line.

-Creeping Cardboard
– Decoy Grenade
– Drum Gun (including Mythic variant)
– Grapplers
– Heavy Sniper Rifle
– Launch Pad (in Arena)

– Suppressed Assault Rifle
– Suppressed Pistol
– Suppressed Sniper Rifle
– Suppressed Submachine Gun
– Tactical Assault Rifle
This basically reads like a what’s what of player requests from the game over the past few months, all of the fun items they wanted making a big return to the game. The introduction of Mythic items will be fascinating, as will who will be the first pro player to start crying about the Decoy Grenade.
