First Full-Length Solo: A Star Wars Story Trailer Released

Following yesterday’s teaser trailer during the Superbowl, the first full-length teaser trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story has been released:

Solo: A Star Wars Story follows the standalone format pioneered by 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and will revolve around the adventures of Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) before his first introduction to us in Episode IV: A New Hope. The film also stars Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke as Qi’Ra, Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett, and will also reportedly feature yet-unknown roles from Thandie Newton and Paul Bettany. Joonas Suatomo is also playing Chewbacca, reprising his roles from both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

StarWars.com also recently released an official synopsis of the movie:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

So far, this is all we know about Solo: A Star Wars Story, but we’ll keep you updated on more information as it’s revealed!

Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to release in both the UK and the US on the 25th of May 2018. IMDb has a release date list for other countries and territories.
