FIFA 21 Strongest Players

While it’s not the most important attribute to have in the game, it’s unlikely that a team of lightweights will be able to compete with FIFA 21‘s strongest players. As good and technically gifted as the former may be, players with high Strength will be able to wrestle the ball away time and time again.

However, that’s not to say the strongest players in the game can’t also be skilled on the ball. We’re seeing more and more that strong players are also better than just simple bulldozers in the game, especially in the case of center-backs where ball-playing defenders are all the rage.

If you want your team to be built like a brick wall in FIFA 21, here are the strongest players you should be seeking out.

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody that Adebayo Akinfenwa is the strongest player in FIFA 21 with a Strength rating of 97. He’s been the beast of the game for the longest time and that won’t step any time soon.

He does have some competition in Orlando City’s Daryl Dike, who is the second strongest player in the game with 96 Strength. May we see a changing of the guard if/when Akinfenwa retires?

After those two, there are four players who each have 95 Strength in FIFA 21: Joyskim Dawa Tchakonte, Armando Méndez, Aleksandar Vukotić, and Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian Lukaku is comfortably the best player out of all of them with an 85 overall rating — he should arguably be a little higher.

Following those, there is an absolute melee with ten players in total having a Strength rating of 94: Sebastián Coates, Pape Abou Cissé, Kalidou Koulibaly, Stefan Maierhofer, Tomáš Petrášek, Uche Ikpeazu, Florian Ballas, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Felipe Carvalho, and Obbi Oularé. Koulibaly is the best player of the bunch with an overall 88 rating.

If you’re wondering where Virgil van Dijk is, the gigantic Dutchman has a Strength rating of 92 and actually barely even makes it into the top 50, which is certainly interesting.

So, there you have it: Adebayo Akinfenwa is the strongest player in FIFA 21 and only one other player looks like stopping his reign any time soon.

FIFA 21 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Legacy Edition is also available for Switch.
