Fatal Fury’s Geese Howard Joining Tekken 7 Tomorrow

Tekken 7

We’ve been waiting since EVO for the original Bad Dad to arrive, but that time is finally upon us. Bandai Namco have announced that Fatal Fury and King of Fighters character Geese Howard will be joining the Tekken 7 roster tomorrow.

This release date announcement came in the form of a new gameplay trailer, which also showcased the new stage, Howard Estate, along with two alternative costumes for Geese. You can dress him up in a Pheonix Kimono, or go back to the good old days with his Young Geese ensemble from KoF Neowave.

As far as gameplay is concerned, Geese has a lot of moves. A lot. In true SNK style, he seems like he has 5 different super moves, along with his trademark Reppuu Kens and Atemi counters (PREDICTABO). He also possesses a meter gauge, similar to fellow guest character Akuma, which appears to be based on the KoF XIV meter. This is shown in the trailer when Geese enters Max Mode to extend combos and unlock more powerful supers.

All in all, Geese looks like a monster, and should make for a fine addition to the Tekken 7 roster. Though the trailer below says that Geese Howard is available today, Katsuhiro Harada has since taken to Twitter to admit that’s a mistake. He will be available tomorrow though.

Are you excited for Howard to make his debut in The King of Iron Fist Tournament? Be sure to let us know how you plan to body everybody online in the comments.
