ExoMecha Will Come With Two Different Modes on Xbox Series X

Do you want performance, or fancy graphics?

ExoMecha

One of the more intriguing announcements from last night’s Xbox Series X showcase was ExoMecha, a free to play competitive FPS that’s coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in late 2021. Check out the trailer below if you need a bit of a refresher.

While the trailer’s reveal at the event didn’t reveal too much in the way of details, an Xbox Wire post from the game’s developers after the fact has shed more light on what we can expect from the game, including the presence of an independent, AI-controlled dragon that creates a dragon zone for all players.

The post also reveals that, like most next-gen games, ExoMecha will come complete with two modes on Xbox Series X, which are a 4K high fidelity mode & a 120fps mode, with the high fidelity mode likely running at 60fps. The developers note that the 120fps performance mode will still run at 4K, but will utilise dynamic resolution.

Between Halo Infinite and Bright Memory Infinite, there’s plenty of good FPS games coming to the Xbox, though now I’m half expecting ExoMecha to also add the Infinite subtitle, just to fit in. Are you excited for ExoMecha? Sound off in the comments.
