Just after a new announcement for Gears Pop figures, which drew the most apathetic announcement in the history of E3, Rod Fergusson took to the stage to announce Gears Tactics, a new turn-based RPG that’s nothing like XCOM.
This new game will take place years before the original games, as you control a new squad formed to take out a Locust team. It aims to combine the turn based gameplay you’d expect with classic Gears enemies, locations and bosses. It’s also a PC only title, which is a rare move.
