Dying Light 2: How To Enable & Disable Voice Chat

Dying Light 2 Voice Chat

Dying Light 2, just like the first game, has co-op to allow you to team up with friends to kick some zombies off of rooftops. You’re going to need voice chat to do that as efficiently as possible.

To enable and disable voice chat in Dying Light 2, go to your pause menu > Options > Online and then make sure Voice Chat is set to on. All being well, you should then be able to talk to your friends and randoms in Dying Light 2. You can also sort your voice chat volume on this screen.

If you’re having trouble talking to other players, it may be a device issue on your end.

On PC, make sure the mic you’re speaking into is the one set as your default recording device. Go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware & Sound, then find the default setting in the sound section. Check your connection if the problem persists.

On PS5, it’s quite a common mistake for players to have accidentally muted themselves using the dedicated button on the DualSense. Make sure that there is no light on, otherwise it means that you are muted. If not, make sure that your mic is set to your headset (if using one) and not the DualSense itself.

On Xbox, don’t forget to keep your controller updated and to check in your sound settings that your mic is set to on.

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S.
