Dying Light 2: Where To Find Infected Trophies

Dying Light 2 Infected Trophiues
Dying Light 2 Infected Trophies

Infected Trophies in Dying Light 2 are a craftmaster resource used to upgrade mods, consumables, resources, and accessories.

The more you upgrade the item, the higher the rarity of the Infected Trophy you will have to collect to upgrade that item, eventually all the way up to its own maximum rarity.

Here all the Infected Trophy rarities you can collect in Dying Light 2, as well as which infected drop them.

Infected Trophy (Uncommon)

– Virals
– Howlers
– Spitters

Uncommon Infected Trophies are the most abundant and overall most useful in the game. Howlers and Spitters are both common enemies at night and the easiest infected to farm; Virals will spawn in droves if you alert a Howler.

Infected Trophy (Rare)

– Goons
– Bolters
– Banshees
– Virals

Rare Infected Trophies can be found as part of story quests but also occasionally during the night as small encounters. Goons are fairly common, while Bolters are easy to chase after if you spot them. Banshees do not spawn that often. Some Virals may also drop Rare Infected Trophies, but typically they drop uncommon.

Infected Trophy (Unique)

– Chargers
– Demolishers
– Volatiles
Revenants

Unique Infected Trophies are the hardest to come across but also you will likely need them the least. Revenants, meanwhile, can only be encountered during GRE Anomalies at night and will even resurrect Virals to fight you, so it’s a good way to farm trophies. Volatiles, as well as being the scariest enemies in the game, can be spawned by reaching chase level 3. Best of luck.

Take your Infected Trophies to a craftmaster, which are available at most main HQs like the Bazaar and the Missy, and start upgrading your blueprints. You can also sell your Infected Trophies for some easy money, but that’s not recommended as their usefulness for upgrades is easy to miss.

Dying Light 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S.
