If you’ve not been given access to this weekends’s VIP beta for Anthem, or you’re not interested in Resident Evil 2 (which Jimmy thought was incredible), we’ve got some good news for you: Xbox Live Gold members can play Dragon Ball FighterZ for free this weekend.
From now until Sunday, January 27 at 11:59 p.m. PT (that’s 7:59am on Monday for GMT), you can download and play Dragon Ball FighterZ with no limits, and as always, progress is carried over if you pick up the full game. Luckily for you, if you’re thinking about buying the game, you can take advantage of some special discounts. The base game has a 60% discount, while the FighterZ Edition and the Ultimate Edition have 50% discounts each.
This free weekend runs parallel with the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals which take place in Los Angeles this weekend, and the tournament promises both the reveal of Jiren as a DLC character, along with more details about the Dragon Ball Z Action RPG. If you’re thinking about downloading FighterZ, check out our review from last year.
