Demon Slayer just finished another banger season, with the Swordsmith Village Arc coming to a close. Season 3 successfully gave fans the stunning animation that Demon Slayer is known for and unveiled new developments that’ll heavily impact the narrative from here on out. If you’ve already watched Season 3’s ending, you’re probably hyped for its continuation in Demon Slayer: Season 4.
Thankfully, Ufotable has announced that Demon Slayer has been renewed and will move forward with a fourth season. The question now is when’ll Demon Slayer: Season 4 be released, and what’ll it be about? To enlighten yourself, here’s everything you should know about Demon Slayer: Season 4.
When Is Demon Slayer: Season 4 Coming Out?
Unfortunately, Demon Slayer: Season 4’s release date hasn’t been revealed yet. We can only speculate on its potential release date, which’ll most likely be early 2025, or, if we’re lucky, mid-2024 at the absolute earliest. The previous seasons roughly had a two-year gap between premieres, so Demon Slayer: Season 4 could be the same.
However, the upcoming story arc is short, having only nine chapters in the manga. So, unless the studio decides to include more content from the manga or other spin-offs, one-shots, and light novels, Demon Slayer: Season 4 may be unlike the previous seasons storywise and might come sooner than expected due to how short it is.
What Is Demon Slayer: Season 4 About? (Spoiler Alert)
Demon Slayer: Season 4 will cover the Hashira Training Arc, specifically Chapters 128-136 of the manga. With Nezuko having conquered the sun, Muzan is now on the hunt to acquire her power and become the ultimate demon. To prepare for the upcoming battle, Tanjiro, and his fellow Demon Slayers will undergo the harshest training they’ve ever faced.
Since time is of the essence, every Hashira will train the Demon Slayers to reach their level as fast as possible. Each Hashira has their own demanding training methods that Tanjiro and the others will have to accomplish, pushing them to their limits. Besides that, we may see the Infinity Castle Arc kick-off to spice things up in Demon Slayer: Season 4.
Which Studio Is Making Demon Slayer: Season 4?
It’s already confirmed that Ufotable will continue to animate Demon Slayer for Season 4. The studio has proven countless times that they’re the right ones for the job with their stellar animation. Given how successful their work with Demon Slayer is so far, Season 4 will be in good hands with Ufotable.
Ufotable is also known for animating popular anime like Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. They’re also the ones who’ll be working on the upcoming Genshin Impact anime in collaboration with Hoyoverse.
Where Will Demon Slayer: Season 4 Be Aired?
When the time comes, Demon Slayer: Season 4 will most likely air on Crunchyroll. They also have the previous seasons of Demon Slayer, so you can check them out if you want to watch them again. You can also rent or purchase the earlier seasons on other services, such as Amazon, Google TV, and Microsoft Store.
