Dead By Daylight

As sure as the sun sets, there’s another Humble Bundle for you to sink your teeth into. With the Paradox Bundle now been and gone, the Best of 2017 bundle amalgamates all of Humble’s favourites from previous bundles. It’s a strange mix, to be sure.

On the $1 tier, you get Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, the meme that refuses to die that is Goat Simulator, and Hacknet. All of them have a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam, so that’s three games for a princely dollar.

Spend a bit more ($5.03 to be exact) and the second tier unlocks, bringing with it Verdun, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, Death Road to Canada, and Turmoil alongside all of the other games on the previous tier. The most interesting game to me here is Death Road to Canada as that’s look like an utterly daft joy.

However, the marquee act is Dead By Daylight: the isometric stabbing simulator that’s a fun game to play when you’re several sheets to the wind, especially with some friends. It’s getting regularly updated, and while it may not be quite as popular as Friday the 13th, it’s a unique experience that’s laced with guest appearances from some of horror’s most gruesome murderers. It’s yours for $10, which is a good deal considering it currently retails for a damn sight more than that.

This bundle is available for the next two weeks. Humble Monthly is also another great destination to save you lots of money on a lot of great games. You can currently get Dark Souls 3 and its Ashes of Ariandel DLC for just $12: a heck of a lot cheaper than it currently retails for.
