If you’re looking for an MMO you can enjoy on the go, like when you’re on the toilet, Daybreak Games have announced that their popular MMO DC Universe Online will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this Summer. Check out the announcement trailer below, and gaze in wonderment at Batman’s portability.
DC Universe Online released back in 2011, and has made its way from PC to PS3, PS4 and Xbox One in the eight years since, so the move to Nintendo Switch is a smart one. DCUO allows you to create your own hero/villain before working alongside DC’s expansive cast of characters, including the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Joker and more. For fans of DC, this is the ultimate in fan service.
Developers Daybreak Games have admitted that a small amount of changes had to occur for DC Universe Online to work on the Switch, and that the Switch version won’t support cross-play, but it will launch will all the previously released content updates, and will be kept in line with the other versions of the game in terms of future updates. Are you excited to play DC Universe Online on the Switch? Sound off in the comments.
