Code Vein Gets A September 28th Release Date

Code Vein

Bandai Namco have finally announced the release date for their long awaited anime inspired RPG, Code Vein, penciling it in for September 28th release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Like many games coming out this year, Code Vein has continued the running tradition of giving Red Dead Redemption 2 the widest berth possible.

This announcement comes with a new story trailer, giving players more of an idea of what’s going on in this world. There’s anime vampires, blood dripping from trees, mystery, miasma and giant monsters. We also get to see more of the gameplay which involves dodging and parrying monsters and big climactic boss fights. We’d say it looks like a certain From Software game, but we’re afraid of appearing on the “It’s Like Dark Souls” Twitter account.

Those who pre-order the game (in the US at least) will also be given access to a special God Eater collaboration pack, which includes the Blanched Greatsword, Cerulean Spear, and Crimson Longsword weapons, along with the Venous Claw weapon.
