Check Out Open-World RPG ELEX’s Launch Trailer

Released tomorrow for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, ELEX is one of the more interesting games of 2017. It’s a relatively small-scale project with big ambitions that results in a very strange but oddly satisfying package. You won’t find many games like it.

– Main character walking slowly towards a horizon? You bet.
– Ridiculous action? Yessir.

ELEX is the work of Piranha Bytes, who you may know from their work on the warmly-received Risen. THQ Nordic are publishing the open-world RPG, which features velociraptors, lasers, and a nice smattering of jankiness for good measure.

Here’s the synopsis:
