March 10th sees the launch of Call of Duty Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale experience that’s the next step from Black Ops 4’s Blackout. Warzone’s map, this time going by the name of Verdansk, is also absolutely massive, featuring a tonne of named locations and places of interest.

Like almost every battle royale game, players descend from the skies and then loot up until there is only one player or team left standing. In Warzone, eliminated players can return by winning a fight in the Gulag, while Modern Warfare players will be able to carry over their progression to the battle royale.

If you’re wondering where to drop, here’s a look at the Call of Duty Warzone Verdansk map, as well as some of its named locations.

These are just the named locations we can make out based on the Warzone map Activision has shared so far. We will be updating this when we drop in an check them all out for ourselves, racing around on the game’s vehicles before inevitably exploding.

It’s worth mentioning here that these are just a few of the landing spots you can check out in Warzone. Activision have noted that there are well over 300 points of interest in Verdansk, ranging from congested urban areas to the great outdoors.

As with most battle royale titles, we expect many players to converge in the center of the map with it being the safest spot to generally land to escape the gas. We highly expect Downtown Tavorsk District, Barakett, and Verdansk Hospital to be the most popular landing spots in Verdansk.

As for us, we will see you at the Kart Racing Track.

Call of Duty Warzone is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Modern Warfare owners can carry over all of their progression, while new players can play for free without purchasing Modern Warfare.
