Bound Headlines November 2017’s Free PlayStation Plus Games

Bound game

After a barnstorming recent few months for PlayStation Plus subscribers, the line-up of “free” games for November 2017 is, um, more “conservative”, let’s say.

There isn’t anything quite as big as The Phantom Pain or Until Dawn, but Bound may well be the highlight this month. It’s a cathartic balletic platformer that sees you explore an unusual fairytale with a great threat looming over a kingdom. You must pliet and twirl your way through danger, which gives it a pacifistic vibe. It may not be for everyone, but if you have a PlayStation VR, it’s one of the best games to help you avoid nausea.

Next up, Worms: Battlegrounds is a Worms game. That’s all that really needs to be said if you’re a nineties kid or earlier, but if you have more youth on your side, it’s an absurd strategy game that sees you throwing sheep and donkeys at other worms until they die. I never realised how messed up it was until now. Note: this is not some weirdly specific spin-off of PUBG.

Probably the highlight for VR players is Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, which is a spin-off to the famed horror game that really shouldn’t work but it does. It’s an on-rails shooter with atmosphere coming out of the wazoo, and you can play a trial of it right now ahead of the latest batch being released so you can get a taste of what to expect. Be wary of the squealing pigs.

That’s You! is also available for PlayStation Plus subscribers once again this month, and will probably continue to be so until we all crumble to dust and are cultivated to produce new cars in a dystopian world. It’s alright, but it’s definitely not the best PS4 exclusive.

Here’s the list of “free” PlayStation Plus games for November in full:

– Worms Battlegrounds (PS4)
– Bound (PS4/PS VR)
– Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS VR)
– That’s You! (PS4)
– R-Type Dimensions (PS3)
– Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic (PS3)
– Dungeon Punks (PS Vita & PS4)
– Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse – Ep. 1 & 2 (PS Vita)

There’s an overwhelmingly negative like/dislike for the new batch of games on the official YouTube reveal “trailer”, but what do you think? Happy with the games or wanted some bigger guns? Drop a comment down below.

Pick these games up from November 7th.
