Along with The Last of Us, the Bioshock series is one of the most obviously adaptable games to bring to the big screen. It was all looking likely too, with acclaimed director Gore Verbinksi attached to the project and fans backing it – there was a big chance it would be the first game adaptation to not suck something fierce.
No such luck. No backers were found for the film and no further announcements have been made for the film since 2012. At least we have some amazing pre-production art from Kasra Farahani to fawn over, eh.
