It’s no secret at this point that Baldur’s Gate 3 is probably a shoo-in for a sweep at The Game Awards, as Larian’s latest has enjoyed an almost unparalleled level of success since launching back in August. With a PS5 release the following month and an Xbox Series X & S release date to be announced at The Game Awards 2023 next month, it’s a great time to be a Baldur’s Gate 3.

One bugbear some had with the Baldur’s Gate 3 launch though is the lack of physical copies, but Larian Studios have took note of those concerns and today they’ve announced a physical Deluxe Edition of the game. If you want to buy the game on another platform, or looking to dip your toe into the massive RPG hit of 2023, this edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 could be for you. Here’s what you need to know about the physical Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition Contents

The Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 is a pretty hefty one, containing a healthy mix of physical goodies and in-game items that should help make adventuring that little bit easier. The physical items in the Deluxe Edition include the following:

– 3 CDs of the game’s original soundtrack

– 32 stickers featuring the origin characters, monsters and more
– 2 patches depicting the Flaming Fist and the Mark of the Absolute

Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition Price & Release Date

The Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition is available to order from the official Larian website, and will set you back €/$79.99, which translates roughly to around £70 at the minute. The Deluxe Edition will then aim to ship to players in Q1 of 2024, with Larian noting on the website that they can fulfil orders from “the majority of countries within the European Union (including UK and Norway), the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.”

Something to note about pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition though is that there’s a pretty hefty delivery charge associated with it of €20. While that might not be applicable to all regions, especially for those in mainland Europe, it’s something to consider if you are planning on purchasing this bundle.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available now on PC and PS5, with an Xbox Series X & S release scheduled for December.
