Apex X Market

After several delays and redesigns, the ‘Apex Legends X Market’ collection event is finally here for Apex Legends. Unlike previous collection events, the new cosmetic skins are a collaboration between Respawn and Market, a popular streetwear line that recently rebranded after some significant controversy.

Originally meant to be released in March, the launch of the cosmetic skins was delayed when the clothing retailer faced backlash from the Asian-American community due to its brand name at the time being ‘Chinatown Market’, despite the fact that the business is owned and operated by a white man. But after a heartfelt apology and some swift rebranding, ‘Chinatown Market’ is now simply ‘Ma®ket’, and the redesigned cosmetic skin bundles are available for purchase starting today.

After teasing skins for Wraith and Mirage on Twitter, we’ve finally had a peek at the rest of the collection available in the ‘Apex X Market’ Collection. Read on for a closer look at the Legend squad’s fashionable new gear.

Wraith’s Ringside Bundle

Price: 3,950AC

In addition to the boxing/wrestling-themed “Ringside” skin, this bundle also includes Wraith’s Legendary-tier “Acrobat” emote. Players who purchase this bundle will also receive the Legendary “Hammer Down” Wingman, a skin that made its first appearance in Season 6’s Aftermarket collection.

Mirage’s Night Crawler Bundle

NightCrawler Mirage

Price: 3,950AC

One of the most unique skins in this event is Mirage’s “Night Crawler”, which features the holographic trickster in a modified version of his signature yellow jumpsuit, sporting a Japanese Oni mask with a fearsome metal maw. He may be the biggest scaredy-cat on the squad, but at least now he can conceal his fear of Storm Point’s giant spiders behind a trendy face mask.

Also included in this bundle is Mirage’s Legendary “Selfie” emote, which features the holopilot snapping a few shots with his decoy (naturally, he’s already stolen the show on Instagram). Finally, players who purchase the “Night Crawler” bundle will receive another classic from the Aftermarket collection: the “Identity Theft” skin for the EVA-8 shotgun.

Lifeline’s Mic Check Bundle

Price: 3,950AC

To really get some bang for your buck, check out Lifeline’s “Mic Check” bundle. This 4-piece bundle includes the “Mic Check” skin, featuring everyone’s favorite medic in a cute pair of overalls and orange goggles, along with her Legendary “Bust a Move” emote. Another throwback weapon also makes an appearance in this bundle: the “Regal Spike” G7 Scout skin, a rarely-spotted weapon cosmetic from the very first Apex collection event, Iron Crown.

But the best part? Lifeline’s bundle also comes with an adorable little bonus item: the Legendary “Lifeline Bobblehead” gun charm.

Bloodhound’s Sundown Desperado Bundle

Price: 3,950AC

Another great deal is the four-piece Bloodhound bundle that includes the Legendary “Sundown Desperado”, a skin which depicts the technological tracker in a stylish cowboy hat. In addition to the character skin, players who purchase this bundle will also receive the epic-tier “Phoenix Fire” Hemlock skin.

But wait, there’s more! In addition to the character and weapon skins, the Bloodhound bundle also comes with two emotes: the Legendary “Hunter’s Call” emote, and the “Crossed Swords” skydive emote, the latter of which originally appeared in Season 7’s Fight Night event.

Gibraltar’s Booming System Bundle

Price: 2,500AC

Don’t worry bruddahs – if you don’t feel like dropping nearly $40 an event bundle, Gibraltar’s got your back. For a mere $25, players can get a two-piece bundle featuring the friendly shielded fortress in one of his coolest skins yet.

While technically not a part of the ‘Market X Apex’ collection, this mini-bundle contains “Booming System”, a DJ-themed character skin depicting a blinged-out Gibraltar whose shield has been replaced with a turntable.

Players who purchase this bundle will also receive the “Beat Dropper” R-99 skin above, the only new weapon skin that hasn’t been used in previous events.

When Does the Apex X Market Collection Begin and End?

If you need some time to mull over your options, worry not – you’ve got plenty of time to decide on (or save up for) whatever bundle catches your fancy, as the Apex Legends X Market event will run from November 9th to November 23rd, 2021.

Apex Legends is free to play on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
